One of the perks of convention work is getting to hear some fascinating speakers in the process of photographing them.  One such was journalist Bob Woodword, the guest speaker at a forum of attorneys from North, South and Central America.  In case your memory doesn’t reach back that far, Woodword, along with Carl Bernstein (both with The Washington Post), pulled the covers off the infamous Watergate conspiracy, in the early 1970s.

Besides the event itself, the venue was top notch.  The Boulders is an exclusive resort in Carefree, Ariz., north of Phoenix.  They take away your car and scoot you around in golf carts!  Beautiful desert landscaping and individual “casitas” with every amenity.  Charles took some cool shots--the first two are regular camera settings and the second two are HDR images.
